POLICE LOG for January 14: Runaway Chickens, Possible Drunk Bicyclist; Vehicles On Pedway

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, January 14, 2017:

  • A Wilton Drive caller wanted to report that his paperboy kicked the bushes next to his driveway. Caller just wanted it logged and did not wish to speak with an officer. (7:00am)
  • Police notified the Water Department of a possible water main break on Rollins Road. (10:10am)
  • A caller reported 4 loose chickens on Carter Lane. (3:01pm)
  • Police observed occupants of a vehicle rolling logs from a construction site on Middlesex Avenue Ext. Police advised the occupants and sent them on their way. (2:50pm)
  • A caller out walking their dog witnessed vehicles driving on the pedway to the Woburn Street School. Vehicles were gone by the time police arrived. (9:37pm)
  • A caller reported a possibly intoxicated bicyclist weaving in and out of traffic on Route 129 near Burger King. Police were unable to locate the bicyclist. (9:59pm)
