Wilmington’s Hair Cuttery Salon To Provide Haircuts For The Homeless

WILMINGTON, MA — On February 6^th and 7^th Hair Cuttery will host Share-A-Haircut for the Homeless.  Every time anyone receives a haircut at any of the Hair Cuttery salons in New England, including the salon in Wilmington, a free haircut certificate will be donated to a homeless person in the community.  To distribute the certificates to those in need, Hair Cuttery is partnering with local shelters and community organizations.

“It is an incredible privilege to be launching the 18th year of our Share-A-Haircut campaign this February,” said Dennis Ratner, Founder and CEO of Hair Cuttery. “This is a cause that every community can rally behind and help bring the simple pleasure of a haircut to those less fortunate.”

Since 1999, the Share-A-Haircut program has donated more than 2.01 million free haircut certificates valued at nearly $33 million.  This February, Hair Cuttery hopes to reach thousands of homeless people in the neighborhoods it serves.
