WILMINGTON, MA — Here are 5 things you need to know in Wilmington for Saturday, January 14, 2017.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, it will be sunny in Wilmington, with a high near 28. Light and variable wind.
#2) The Boston Antiques, Vintage, Art and Design Show and Sale will take place from 10am to 5pm at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road). Learn more HERE.
#3) Abundant Life Church (173 Church Street) is holding a Winter Fun event for local children (Kindergarten to Grade 5) from 1pm to 4pm.
Children can choose from two of the follow activities:
- Bracelet Making
- T-Shirt Tie Dying (please bring your own white t-shirt)
- Wood Painting
- Cupcake Decorating
All children will also participate in games, make their own sundaes, and watch the Peanuts Movie.

#4) Several Wilmington High School teams are in action today:
- 7:00am – BOYS JV Ice Hockey @ Matignon
- 10:00am – BOYS Varsity Wrestling @ Multiple Opponents (Nashua North Tournament @ Nashua N. High NH)
- 2:00pm – GIRLS Varsity Ice Hockey vs Stoneham (at Ristuccia Arena)
- 4:00pm – BOYS Varsity Ice Hockey @ Stoneham
#5) The Wilmington Youth Center (126 Middlesex Avenue, Villanova Hall) is open from 7pm to 9:30pm. The Center is for 6th, 7th and 8th graders who live in Wilmington. Learn more about the Center, and how you can sign your child up, HERE.
