WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, January 5, 2017:
- A caller reported approximately 30 minutes ago, a school bus was stopped at Woburn Street and West, with red flashing lights on and stop sign out. A black 2008 Chrysler Pacifica drove through and nearly struck a child. Vehicle continued on Woburn STreet School toward Lowell Street. (8:34am)
- Police assisted a teacher with a motor vehicle lockout in the high school teachers’ parking lot. (12:59pm)
- State Police responded to a rollover, with an injury, between Exit 38 and 39 on 93 North. (3:14pm)
- Police responded to reports of an erratic operator on Main Street, who struck a guardrail near U-Haul. Police checked with the operator, who claimed he was avoiding debris in the roadway. Situation checked OK. (3:40pm)
- A blue 2000 Nissan Pathfinder, a blue 2013 Chevy Silverado and a white 2016 Toyota Camry were involved in a crash on Main Street. No injuries noted. (4:54pm)
- A Grove Street resident reported there was an injured owl in the rear of her residence. Police referred her to the Environmental Police. (4:59pm)
- Joshua A. Kivlehan (23, Wilmington) was arrested on warrants, forgery, and receiving stolen property under $250. in the MBTA Parking Lot. (5:41pm)
- Police issued a citation to a white 2015 Chevy Silverado on Route 125 for failing to yield to emergency vehicles. (7:13pm)
