SELECTMEN NEWS: Big Issues To Be Discussed At Tonight’s Meeting

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meets this Monday, January 9 at 7pm in Room 9 of Town Hall.

There is a good deal on the agenda, including:

  • Town Manager Jeff Hull and Selectwoman Judy O’Connell will discuss their recent meeting with Wilmington’s legislative delegation regarding the New England Transrail proposal.
  • Selectmen will consider an access license and agreement with Olin Chemical to conduct water sampling.
  • Town Manager Jeff Hull will provide a timeline and calendar regarding the town’s FY18 budget process.
  • Selectmen will consider candidates to serve on the town’s new By-Law Study Committee.
  • Selectmen will consider appointing Robert P. Lopez to the Cable TV Advisory Task Force.
  • Selectmen will consider ratifying appointments of the town’s Records Access Officers.

The meeting will be telecast live by Wilmington Community Television on WCTV-G — Channel 22 on Comcast and Channel 38 on Verizon.  The meeting will also be streamed on WCTV’s website HERE.
