POLICE LOG for January 2: Car Windows Smashed On Taft Rd.; Dog Poop Dispute

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, January 2, 2017:

  • Liban Ali (25, Wilmington) was arrested on a warrant. (6:41am)
  • A Taft Road resident reported his vehicle’s windows were smashed sometime overnight. Police responded and determined incident happened around 9pm. Residents heard noise and noticed an older model gold Toyota Camry near the damaged vehicle. (8:37am)
  • A walk-in party reported her license to carry was stolen from her purse while in Foxboro. (3:48pm)
  • A wallet was found in a snow bank in front of TJ Maxx in the Wilmington Plaza. Owner came to the station to retrieve. (4:27pm)
  • A Lake Street caller reported his neighbor cut the zip line for his dog’s leash. Police responded. The zip line was not cut. Neighbor believed it was extended too far into her property. Neighbors had a dispute over dog waste which has since been picked up. Situation clear. (8:48pm)
  • Police was flagged down on Middlesex Avenue and notified of a erratic driver driving a gray Toyota going west on 62. Police were unable to locate. (11:38pm)
