POLICE LOG for December 28: 2 Homes Report Broken Windows; Fight Outside Group Home

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are TEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, December 28, 2016:

  • Police responded to 4 people fighting in front of the Milestone Group Home on High Street. Staff did not wish to press charges. (12:38am)
  • A Chestnut Street caller reported a broken window at her residence a hole in the wall. (5:11am)
  • A walk-in party reported damage to the lower passenger side of her windshield — a spider-web like shatter — on Chestnut Street. She does not know what caused the damage and did not see any unusual items near the vehicle. (7:55am)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout with a child inside on Lloyd Road. (8:44am)
  • A Target employee reported there was a minor crash in the store’s parking lot and involved parties are arguing. Police responded and assisted with the paperwork exchange. (9:12am)
  • A Clyde Avenue caller reported a broken window. Police confirmed there was damage from a pellet gun to a second floor window. (9:52am)
  • A caller reported a white female in her 40’s, wearing a blue hat and a blue coat, walking past her Chestnut Street house, for three consecutive days. Police spoke with   the female, who is a resident walking to the train. Situation checked OK. (10:28am)
  • A Roosevelt Road caller reported a neighbor suffering from dementia walked into their home and physically assaulted her husband. (12:53pm)
  • A caller reported a neighbor’s dog has been tied to a tree in her yard and was leaving waste on her property. Animal Control Officer was notified and will handle. (4:26pm)
  • Police responded to reports of multiple juveniles having a party on Fay Street. Police responded. Partygoers were uncooperative. Everybody appeared over 18, some possibly over 21. Police were unable to reach the homeowner. Police advised the partygoers of the complaint. (11:11pm)
