WILMINGTON, MA — On the latest episode of WCTV’s In The Loop, host Anne-Marie Fiore sat down with Wilmington Athletic Director Tim Alberts to discuss WHS sports.
Alberts, in his first year as Athletic Director, discussed his background and provided a recap of school’s fall athletic season, which yielded 15 Middlesex All-Stars. After previewing the winter athletic season, Alberts encouraged parents to follow the Athletic Department’s Twitter page and to attend the Parents Springs Sports Night on Tuesday, March 14 if they have a child interested in playing spring sports. He also took a moment to thank Cheryl Tavares, Kevin Welch, Linda Peters, Joanne Benton, Sean Gallagher and Paul Ruggiero for helping him transition into the role. Alberts also thanked previous athletic directors Ed Harrison and Jim Gillis for their mentorship and continued support.
