WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, December 15, 2016:
- A Salem Street resident requested increased patrols in the area due to speeding vehicles. (8:56am)
- Bill Dube Hyundai on Main Street requested extra patrols between 8pm and 5pm due to alcohol and trash found in the back parking lot. (10:01am)
- A tree was observed leaning against wires on Woburn Street. Police shut down the road due to the hazard and notified both the Tree Department and the Reading Municipal Light Department. (1:23pm)
- Police received report of a motor vehicle crash involving a gray 2015 Land Rover LR4 and a black 2010 Toyota Corolla that happened at 7:15am in the high school’s student parking lot. No injuries noted. (6:08pm)
- Tewksbury Police requested a check of a Vermont Road residence for an involved participant in a shoplifting incident at the Walmart in their town. Police responded. Individual no longer lives there and is currently living in Lowell. Wilmington Police notified Tewksbury Police of individual’s new address. (10:02pm)
- Police noticed the street sign for Vermont Road was missing. Police notified the DPW. (10:23pm)
