WILMINGTON, MA — Leonard “Lenny” J. Chase, age 74, of Wilmington, died unexpectedly on December 17, 2016.
Lenny was the beloved husband of Rose M. (Polvere) Chase. Cherished son of the late Clarence and Ella (Bates) Chase, dear brother of Carol Rooney & her husband Richard of Davenport, FL, the late Merton Chase, Russell Chase, and Roberta Crowton. Step-brother of James & Gloria Coyne of Everett. Brother-in-law of Arthur Crowton of Davenport, FL. Lenny is also survived by many special cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Service at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Wednesday, December 21st at 11:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting Hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 20th from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations in Lenny’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 625 Main St., Wilmington, MA 01887.
Lenny was a Supervisor for the Dept. of Public Safety Elevator Division Local 888 and a retired member of the IUEC Local #4 in Boston. He also proudly served in the U. S. Coast Guard Veteran during the Vietnam War.
