CHELMSFORD, MA — The Middlesex Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Billerica, Concord and Tewksbury Police Departments, will offer a free 3-night R.A.D. basic self defense class for women that will include classroom instruction, as well as dynamic hands-on training where participants will learn the skills needed to help survive an attack.
The R.A.D. class will take place on Monday, January 9; Tuesday, January 10; and Wednesday, January 11, from 6pm to 9pm, at the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office’s Training Academy (40 Brick Kiln Road, Chelmsford, MA). The class is open to all women, ages 16 and over, living in Middlesex County (which includes Wilmington). Call 978-495-7410 to register for the class.
