WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington residents are encouraged to gather outside the Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street), on Friday, December 23, from 2pm to 3pm, to show appreciation to members of the Wilmington Police and Fire Departments.
Organizers of this second annual event are asking participants to:
- Bring some baked goods to share with the departments
- Bring homemade holiday cards or thank you notes
- Bring your voice to sing some Christmas carols
“We want to show our gratitude for all they do, especially when they are out taking care of our community instead of at home celebrating the holidays with their families at home,” reads the organizers’ Facebook event page.
