POLICE LOG for December 12: 2 OUI Arrests; Bad Crash on Shawsheen Ave.

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, December 12, 2016:

  • A red 2004 Toyota Corolla and a black 2013 Volkswagen Jetta were involved in a crash at Lowell Street and 93 South Exit 38 ramp. Both vehicles were towed. One operator was transported to Winchester for unspecified injuries. (6:48am)
  • John R. Tobin (31, Wilmington) was issued a summons for OUI Liquor (3rd Offense), Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle. Tobin struck a tree near As Good As It Gets on Lowell Street. (9:10am)
  • Sheryl A. Miele (52, Wilmington) was arrested on OUI Liquor and Marked Lanes Violation. Miele was arrested in the Market Basket parking lot. (5:13pm)
  • A gray 2008 Subaru Outback struck a pole near Boutwell School. Police notified DPW of icy road conditions. No injuries noted. Driver and juvenile passenger was transported to their residence. (6:13pm)
  • Police moved 3 washers and dryers off of the roadway on Lowell Street. The State DPW was notified to remove in the morning.  (9:43pm)
  • Joseph A. Kacvinsky (41, Brighton) was issued a summons for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked License; Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle; and Speeding. Kacvinsky’s red 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan struck a fence, mailbox and 2 parked cars on Shawsheen Avenue. Both were transported with unspecified injuries to Mass General Hospital.
