WORCESTER, MA – Worcester State University’s freshman Elisabeth Olson (Wilmington, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women’s indoor track & field rookie of the week, as announced by the conference Monday afternoon.
The first year finished fourth place in the mile run this past weekend at the Jay Carisella Invitational. She finished in a time of 5:40.98, and placed just behind runners from the University of Vermont and Northeastern University.
Olson currently stands at 49th place in all of Division III in the mile run.
