POLICE LOG for December 9: Major Drug Arrest; Coyote Struck & Killed

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, December 9, 2016:

  • Hector Rivera (30, Woburn) was issued a summons for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. Rivera was pulled over at AL Prime on Main Street. His black 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer was towed. (12:52ma)
  • Police assisted State Police with a 3-vehicle crash on Route 125 Highway. No injuries reported. No vehicle towed. (8:09am)
  • Paul S. Hatch (45, Lynn) was arrested on Jewel Drive for 4 counts of distributing a Class B drug; 4 counts for conspiracy to violate drug laws; and 2 counts of possession of Class B drug. (9:24am)
  • A hit and run was reported between 11am and 11:30am. A North Reading Transportation bus backed into a gray 2011 Honda Accord and did not exchange information. (12:34pm)
  • Fire Department responded to the Market Basket plaza after a gray 2011 Subaru Tribeca struck a pedestrian. (2:46pm)
  • A blue 2002 Saab Linear struck a tree on Burlington Avenue. No injuries noted. Vehicle towed. (8:42pm)
  • A coyote was found in the middle of Cunningham Street, possibly struck by a vehicle. Coyote was euthanized. (11:09pm)
