BOSTON, MA — Boy Scout Troop 136, of Wilmington, volunteered at the 75th Anniversary of the Tuskegee Airmen at UMASS Boston, on Friday, October 27th. The event was joint sponsored by the Greater Boston and Col Charles McGee chapters of Tuskegee Airmen. The event featured 4 original Tuskegee Airmen: Col (ret) Charles McGee, Col (ret) George Hardy, Dr. Harold May, and Lt Col (ret) Enoch Woodhouse II. Hosted by Channel 7 reporter Byron Burnett, the event raised funds for continued education and scholarships.
The Boy Scouts from Troop 136 in attendance were Joe Cullen, Max Pappas and David McClaren. Troop leaders were Robin Theodos, John Wallace, Thomas Feindel, Frank West Jr, Frank Palazzi, and Frank West Sr.
