WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, December 7, 2016:
- A Chestnut Street caller reported traffic enforcement between 6am and 6:20am. He states every morning he has been passed by vehicles while traveling on Chestnut Street while going the speed limit. (6:22am)
- Police assisted a driver with a motor vehicle lockout in the Savers parking lot. (12:54pm)
- A Woburn Street caller reported a neighbor still has political signs displaying on their lawn. Police responded, but no one was home. Police will attempt to contact homeowner later. (1:47pm)
- A Salem Street resident reported an unknown man was taking pictures of his neighbor’s house at 4:30am this morning. Party wanted the incident logged. (3:44pm)
- Police responded to a large branch down in the roadway on Shawsheen Avenue. Police were able to remove from roadway. (5:06pm)
- A 2-vehicle crash occurred, with the cars in the median on 93 North. Police assisted with the paperwork exchange. (5:15pm)
- A vehicle struck a parked car in the MBTA parking lot on Main Street. Police assisted with the paperwork exchange. (6:09pm)
- An Eastgate Liquors employee asked for an officer to standby while employees closed the store and exited. Employee noted there is two cars lingering in the parking lot for more than an hour. Police responded. (10:00pm)
