POLICE LOG for December 6: 2-Year-Old Finds Prescription Pill On Sidewalk; Car Fire; 4-Vehicle Crash

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, December 6, 2016:

  • A Dorchester Street caller reported a suspicious man walking around in the area taking pictures. Police responded. Situation checked OK. Man was a contractor. (10:02am)
  • A 4-vehicle crash occurred near Winchester Family Medical Center on Salem Street. No injuries noted. 3 of the 4 vehicles were towed. (1:22pm)
  •  A cell phone was found in the Town Hall’s parking lot. Police spoke with owner who retrieved the phone at the station. (2:10pm)
  • A walk-in party turned in an iPad he found. Police located owner, who retrieved the item at the station. (3:45pm)
  • A caller’s 2-year-old found a prescription pill (Tramadol) outside their Glendale Circle home. Caller requested school be notified due to the bus stop being right outside of her house. (4:43pm)
  • A black 2009 Honda Fit and a blue 2005 GMC Terrain were involved in a crash on the 93 South Exit 38 ramp. Airbag deployed. No injuries noted. State Police handled. (4:53pm)
  • A caller reported a man was out of his car and yelling at her because she was blocking his way on Butters Row. Police responded. No threats were made. Caller was able to reverse and both parties continued on their way. (5:01pm)
  • A black 2015 Jeep Cherokee and a black 2012 Chevy Cruze were involved in a crash at Church Street and Clark Street. No injuries noted. (5:54pm)
  • Fire Department responded to a fully involved car fire near the 93 North Exit 39 ramp. (7:56pm)
