POLICE LOG for December 4: Juvenile Arrested; Makeshift Camp Found Under Bridge

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, December 4, 2016:

  • An Aldrich Road caller reported his cat was missing. Cat was black with a white chest, named “Zeus.” Caller eventually located cat. (12:43am)
  • Police pulled over the driver of a black 2004 Nissan Murano on Route 93 South after noting they were only traveling at 32 MPH. Police conducted a field sobriety test and operator checked OK. (2:34am)
  • Police found 2 Market Basket carriages located down the stairs of the bridge on Richmond Street. Police contacted Market Basket’s customer service desk. Police also noted a makeshift camp set up on the canal side of the bridge. (10:10am)
  • Police received a report of 5 male parties causing a disturbance inside the Dunkin Donuts on Concord Street. Police responded and parties fled on foot. Police arrested one of the individuals on outstanding warrants for receiving stolen property and vandalism. Arrestee was a 16 year-old juvenile. No other information provided. (12:25pm)
  • A Glen Road resident reported bank fraud. (1:34pm)
  • A Somerset Place resident reported credit card fraud. (2:01pm)
  • A gray 2007 Kia Sorento and a black 2014 Honda Civic were involved in a minor crash at Winchester Family Medical Center on Salem Street. (3:50pm)
