WILMINGTON, MA — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, December 2, 2016:
- Animal Control Officer conducted barn inspections on West Street and Middlesex Avenue. (10:47am)
- A gray 2005 Dodge Ram Truck struck a parked gray 2008 Toyota Camry in the MBTA Parking Lot on Main Street. Driver and police both left note to the owner to contact the station. (11:58am)
- A Care One employee called to report that a white cargo van had been parked in their parking lot since Monday. The business does not know who the vehicle belongs to. Vehicle was towed to the police station for processing. (12:09pm)
- Animal Control Officer received a report of a loose chicken in a resident’s driveway on Loumac Road. Officer was able to retrieve the chicken and return it to its owner. (1:03pm)
- A Marion Street resident requested traffic enforcement between 6am-7am and 3pm-4pm due to speeding cars in the area. (2:07pm)
- A white 2011 Toyota Camry and a blue 2004 Honda Accord were involved in a crash at Lowell Street, near 93 South Exit 38 ramp. No injuries noted. Both vehicles towed. (4:00pm)
- An employee at Advanced Auto Parts on Main Street reported he found a human bone in the parking lot. Police responded. Bone was an animal bone. Situation checked OK. (4:51pm)
- Police responded to an irate male outside the Registry of Motor Vehicles on Middlesex Avenue. (4:57pm)
- Police received report of 3 parties leaving without paying at Pacific Grove on Lowell Street. (7:56pm)
