8 Things You Need To Know In Wilmington Today (December 8)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are 8 things you need to know in Wilmington for Thursday, December 8, 2016.

#1) According to the National Weather Service, it will be mostly cloudy in Wilmington, with a high near 41. Calm wind becoming west 5 to 7 mph in the morning.

#2) The Wilmington High School Marching Band and Chorus holds their Winter Concert at 7pm in the WHS Auditorium. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

#3) Rocco’s Restaurant & Bar (193 Main Street) is hosting live music with Larry Gilbert at 6pm.

#4) Red Heat Tavern (300 Lowell Street) is hosting live music with Bucket of Blues at 8pm.

#5) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a special program — “Homemade Gifts For The Holidays” — at 7pm.  Learn more HERE.

#6) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its typical Thursday activities:

  • Computer Class (9:15am)
  • Art Class (10am)
  • Aerobics (10:30am)
  • Knitting/Crocheting (11am)
  • Game Day (1pm)
