WILMINGTON, MA — You don’t have to wait until midnight to celebrate the New Year!
On Saturday, December 31, ring in the New Year early on this new motor coach trip to the Danversport Yacht Club. Festivities include a plated luncheon and champagne toast. Enjoy a fun and fast-paced musical performance by award-winning singer Lydia Harrell, who has headlined with the Boston Pops and serenaded Celtics fans with the National Anthem. Lydia will perform some of the best songs from the American Songbook of the 60’s, 70’s, Motown, Broadway and more. You may choose to dance your way into the New Year to the “Lovely Singer Orchestra” or, if you prefer, simply watch, listen to and enjoy the music and the festive décor.
Cost is $99. To register, go to the Recreation Department online registration program at www.wilmingtonma.gov/recreation and register for “New Years at Noon” or stop by the Recreation Office (Room 8, Town Hall, weekdays, 8:30am-4:30pm) or call the Recreation Office at 978-658-4270.
