WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Public Schools Technology Director Anne-Marie Fiore recently released her holiday device recommendations. Read them HERE or below:
Looking for a great “TECH” gift for you child? If you want to purchase a gift that not only will bring joy to your child but also be productive in school, the Dell 11″ Chromebook is a good buy at well under $300. As you know, the Wilmington Public Schools is “Google Apps for Education (GAfE)” district which means that we use Google tools in our teaching and learning. The current 9th graders are using chromebooks as a part of daily instruction, this year. In 2016-2017, WMS 8th graders will join with using Chromebooks.
Here is a link to a Dell Site where you can purchase a Dell Chromebook from Dell with the WPS specifications already built-in. (Just click on “Recommended Configurations”) We also recommend buying a soft case for times when the Chromebook is in the backpack. Those can be found at local retail stores or on Amazon.
