WILMINGTON, MA — In October, the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce announced its plans to expand into Tewksbury creating a bi-town Chamber that as of January 1, 2017 will be known as The Wilmington/Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce.
Guests that attended the “Meet & Greet Mixer” at Merrimack Valley Pavilion on October 27th learned more about the expansion, membership benefits, met current Chamber members and Directors, and had the opportunity to vote for their favorite new logo design. On November 8th, the Board of Directors unanimously approved the most popular design.
Audrey Kelly, Chamber Board President states, “The new logo was designed to show the two towns unified as one business organization with a shared mission to promote the economic and social well-being of our community.”
Mark Kratman, Vice Chair, Tewksbury Board of Selectmen added, “I think the new design is a good representation of our two towns joining forces to build one local business community. I’m looking forward to seeing the new logo displayed on many business doors around town.”
Word is spreading quickly among the Tewksbury business community and many have already jumped on board joining the new organization and are excited to be a part of helping to build their new local Chamber.
How do I join the Wilmington/Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce?
Businesses are encouraged and welcome to join the newly formed Chamber NOW. Our membership dues are based on the number of employees and billed in January. However, any new business that joins NOW and pays their annual dues will be paid up through January 2018.
Membership renewal invoices will be mailed out to our existing members in January as usual.

Business owners can learn more about membership benefits by browsing our existing website at www.wilmingtonMAchamber.org, calling the Chamber office at 978-657-7211, or coming to one of our Chamber Orientations offered the first Wednesday of every month at our office @ 226 Lowell Street, Suite B-4, Wilmington, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM.
Members & potential members are also invited to learn more about the Wilmington/Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce and our next “MEET & GREET MIXER” on Thursday, January 19, 5pm – 7pm, at TJ Callahan’s Pub.
