WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, November 25, 2016:
- A gray 2014 Toyota Tacoma crashed into a pole on Shawsheen Avenue. 2 poles were struck — 1 completely snapped. Police notified RMLD and Verizon. No injuries noted. Vehicle was towed. (4:04am)
- Police responded to a car fire on Middlesex Avenue and Clark Street. No injuries noted. (5:16am)
- Two vehicles were reported stolen from an unspecified location on Jewel Drive. Police put BOLO’s out for both vehicles. Tires were also stolen off several vehicles. (8:34am)
- A Chestnut Street resident reported she has been getting multiple calls from “Publisher’s Clearing House” and wished to speak to an officer about the annoying calls. (11:44am)
- Greg’s Pizza on Shawsheen Avenue reported it had received several prank phone calls. (2:04pm)
- A 99 Restaurant employee reported a woman entered the restaurant to report an attempted assault in the parking lot. The male party was described as a black male named Daniel who left in a beidge Ford Taurus. Police put out a BOLO for an indecent assault and battery. (7:31pm)
- The flashing 20 MPH speed limit sign for the Boutwell School was knocked over. Police also noted damage to the lawn in front of the tennis courts. Police notified the DPW. (11:33pm)
