WILMINGTON, MA – The Wilmington Youth Hockey Association is pleased to announce that we have applied for and received a grant from the Investment in Youth Foundation.
The Investment in Youth Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c) (3) corporation dedicated to the promotion of youth and adult involvement in ice skating sports through financial grants. Priority is given for demonstrated financial need by organizations with strong board involvement, demonstrated success in fund raising and strong leadership.
Funds received are used to offset increase ice cost, help pay for skills, and promote USA Hockey’s “Heads up Hockey” initiative. This grant, in addition to our fundraising efforts, will continue to keep our fees as low as possible while providing additional benefits our players.
