WILMINGTON, MA — It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
27 Wilmington residents are getting ready to perform in Melrose Youth Ballet’s presentation of The Nutcracker. These young dancers, who range in age from age 7 to 18, auditioned and were cast in the annual production.
The Nutcracker will appear at Memorial Hall, 590 Main St. Melrose, MA for one weekend only: Friday 12/2 at 8pm, Saturday 12/3 at 1pm & 7pm, and Sunday 12/4 at 1pm. For more information on The Nutcracker visit www.melroseyouthballet.org or call 781-665-4MYB.
MYB is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to help young dancers realize their potential by being part of a full-scale ballet production that pairs children, young adults and professional dancers on stage together for this annual holiday tradition. For the first time in 9 years, the ballet has a new Artistic Director and Assistant Director, Matthew Cox Parello and Travers King.
The 27 dancers include: Mackenzie Barral, Norah Brady, Reaghan Brady, Marisa Bryan, Samantha Bryan, Sarah Bryan, Grace Constantine, Audrey Curdo, Emma Erickson, Caroline Fiorenzio, Danielle Flaherty, Marissa Gallozzi, Samantha Glaser, Zoey Helbert, Caroline Jenks, Alex Kennedy, Ava Kennedy, Celia Kulis, Loriana Luongo, Kyla McCarthy, Tayla McDonald, Gabriella Monteforte, Carlena Osgood, Mollie Osgood, Sophia Plouffe, Adriana Rice, Katrina Riekstins, Amanda Solari, Olivia Solari, Aria Sullivan, Caterina Tassone, Emma-Rose Toomey
