POLICE LOG for November 23: Truck Pulls Wires Down; ATVs Riding In Streets; Illegal Dumping

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, November 23, 2016:

  • A box truck pulled wires down in front of a residence on Beverly Avenue and left. Police notified Verizon. Police caught up with the truck on Faulkner Avenue. (7:59am)
  • Jeffrey Sparks (27, Wilmington) was issued a summons for a B&E to commit a misdemeanor. (12:04pm)
  • Police conducted an evacuation drill at the North Intermediate School. (9:14am)
  • A caller reported a vehicle dumped two trash bags on the side of Trexel Ink on Research Drive and drove off. (12:13pm)
  • Police received report of ATVs riding in the area of Town Hall.  Police spoke with 3 individuals on Broad Street and advised them to keep their vehicles on land they have permission to travel on and off of public ways. (12:33pm)
  • Police received a request for a well-being check of a woman in the drive-thru at CVS. Police provided the woman with a ride home and contacted her family. (1:00pm)
  • A Hathaway Road caller reported her son threw a remote at the TV which resulted in the screen being cracked. Police responded to the home and restored the peace. (6:26pm)
