WILMINGTON, MA — Here are 5 things you need to know in Wilmington for Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, Wilmington will see rain, mainly after noon. Patchy fog. High near 51. Calm wind becoming east 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
#2) Wilmington Public Schools is holding an Elementary Literacy Parent Information Night from 6pm to 7pm at the Woburn Street School Library.
Parents of children in Grades K-5 are invited to learn more about the district’s Title I Program and best practices in literacy instruction, including Reader’s Workshop, the importance of students choosing “just right” books, and to discover the number one way students case increase their reading skills.

#3) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding TWO programs:
- First Look Book Group (3pm-4pm)
- Music & More with Bernadette Baird (6:30pm-7:15pm)

#5) The Wilmington Police Department offers safety seat installs at the Wilmington Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street) every Wednesday, 10am-2pm. No appointment is necessary, but calling ahead at 978-658-5071 is recommended. Learn more HERE.
