SELECTMEN NEWS: Big Issues To Be Discussed At Tonight’s Meeting

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meets this Monday, November 28 at 7pm in Room 9 of Town Hall.

There is a good deal on the agenda, including:

  • Selectmen will hold a public hearing with Principal Assessor Karen Rassias to discuss local property tax policy classification.
  • Selectmen will hold a discussion on New England Transrail and consider sending a letter to the town’s legislative delegation.  Selectmen will also receive a memo from the Town Manager on the latest developments.
  • Selectmen will hear a presentation from Frank West and Gunnery Sergeant William Gilliam on the Toys for Tots program in Wilmington.
  • Selectmen will consider appointing Town Manager Jeff Hull as the town’s Chief Procurement Officer.
  • Selectmen will consider executing the deed for the sale of the Butters Farm.
  • Selectmen will consider a request to change managers at Wilmington Knights of Columbus from William Liston to Gina Daniels.
  • Selectmen will hold a public hearing with Lee Ghannam of Triple Nickel Auto Body & Repair (555 Main Street), who is requesting to obtain a Class II Vehicle Sales License.
  • Selectmen will consider executing the authorization of a bond issuance to the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority.

The meeting will be telecast live by Wilmington Community Television on WCTV-G — Channel 22 on Comcast and Channel 38 on Verizon.  The meeting will also be streamed on WCTV’s website HERE.
