POLICE LOG for November 17: Someone Living In The Woods?; Hypodermic Needle Found

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, November 17, 2016:

  • A landscaping company found a hypodermic needle near Reading Cooperative Bank on Middlesex Avenue. Police retrieved the needle for destruction. (9:26am)
  • A gray 2002 Saturn SE L200 and a black 2014 Subaru Legacy were involved in a crash on Main Street. No injuries noted. (10:40am)
  • A caller reported she lost a diaper bag, with baby supplies, in the area of the library. She believed she drove off forgetting the bag was placed on the roof of her car. (11:37am)
  • A walk-in party reported being harassed by a co-worker at Jimmy’s Garage on Main Street. (2:02pm)
  • A party reported he believes an individual is living in the woods on the “aqueduct trail” near Butters R ow. Police headed into the woods on Meadowbrook and locate an empty tent. (3:30pm)
  • A caller reported hearing noise in her residence. Police responded. Situation checked OK. The caller’s parents unexpectedly arrived back home early from an out-of-state trip. (11:14pm)
