POLICE LOG for November 16: Injured Bird, Deer Struck, Barn Inspections

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, November 16, 2016:

  • A black 2016 GMC Terrain and a green 2002 Jeep Liberty were involved in a minor crash at Glen Road and Faulkner Avenue. No injuries noted. (7:07am)
  • The Wilmington Police Department installed 3 car seats at the Public Safety Building during their weekly drop-in hours for parents.  The Wilmington Animal Control Officer inspected three barns around town throughout the morning.
  • Animal Control Officer responded to a report of an injured bird at the High School. Officer transported the bird to a vet or animal hospital in Andover. (11:26am)
  • A Faulkner Avenue resident requested extra patrols in the area due to spending. (3:29pm)
  • Police received a call from a motorist in North Reading who struck a deer. Caller stated he was not injured and was safely on the side of the road on Lowell Street in North Reading. Police notified North Reading Police, who responded. (6:11pm)
  • An Arlene Avenue resident reported an identity fraud. (6:30pm)
  • A teen was reported missing from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. (8:05pm)
