POLICE LOG for November 15: Car Strikes Pedestrian In Crosswalk; Speeding Concerns At Bus Stops

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are FIVE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, November 15, 2016:

  • Jerry M. Bourque (31, Billerica) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and no inspection sticker. Bourque was pulled over on Salem Street. (10:15am)
  • A Grove Avenue resident requested extra patrols during morning bus stop hours (6am-6:30am and 8am-8:30am) due to speeding cars in the area. (10:16am)
  • A caller reported an alleged hit & run on 95 North. Vehicles stopped on Salem Street, near the Town Museum.  Police assisted with paperwork exchange. (2:29pm)
  • A red 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee struck a pedestrian on Woburn Street, near Analog Devices. Police issued a citation for failure to yield to pedestrian in a crosswalk. No injuries noted . (6:32pm)
  • Police restored the peace after a large group of juveniles was reportedly fighting in the middle of St. Paul Street. (10:32pm)
