Wilmington Schools To Hold ‘Hour of Code’ Family Event On December 6

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Public Schools is holding an “Hour of Code” Family Event on Tuesday, December 6, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, in the Woburn Street School Cafeteria.

Wilmington schools are joining in on the largest learning event in history — “The Hour of Code” — during Computer Science Education Week.  Wilmington students will participate in Hour of Code with their classes and the district is inviting families to join the fun.

During the family event, Wilmington K-5 parents and students are invited to participate in web-based coding games, hands-on robotics, and offline coding activities. There is no previous experience necessary.  All equipment will be provided.
