POLICE LOG for November 11: Driver Issued Summons; Car Vandalized; Home Vandalized

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, November 11, 2016:

  • Police was out with a man carrying a duffle bag on the front lawn of a King St. home. The man stated he was dating a resident at the address, but was unsure of her last name. An Uber arrived to take him home. (2:21am)
  • A vehicle struck a concrete trash barrel in the parking lot of the Dunkin Donuts on Middlesex Avenue and kept driving. Police issued a summons to Mark W. Peach (38, Burlington) for leaving the scene of property damage. (6:35am)
  • The owner of a gray 2016 Dodge Caravan reported their car was struck with some rocks. Police responded and observed some dings in the vehicle. (6:43am)
  • Police assisted the Fire Department with a brush fire near the Senior Center. (9:57am)
  • The Water Department requested an officer with a camera to document illegal dumping. (10:00am)
  • A Salem Street resident reported someone keeps throwing items at her home. She noticed today that a pane on her front window was broken overnight. (1:34pm)
  • A woman in the McDonald’s drive-thru refused to leave after drooping her credit card in a donation box. Police assisted in making arrangements with McDonald’s management to retrieve the card tomorrow at 8am. (5:24pm)
