WILMINGTON, MA — Here are 8 things you need to know in Wilmington for Friday, November 18, 2016.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, it will be sunny in Wilmington, with a high near 60. Calm wind becoming north 5 to 7 mph in the morning.
#2) The Wilmington Rotary Club is holding its Annual Auction at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Avenue). Viewing of items begins at 6:00 PM and the first item auctioned at 7:00PM. There is no admission to attend. A complimentary buffet and cash bar will be available. Learn more HERE.
#3) The Aleppo Shriners will be holding its Festival of Trees on Friday, November 18 (4pm to 8pm); Saturday, November 19 (9am to 8pm); and Sunday, November 20 (9am to 6pm) at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road). This new event features a large number of beautiful trees with lots of presents to raffle. The event also features Pictures with Santa, Duck Fishing for Kids, a Wine Pull, a Raffle Room, and live music. Admission costs just 50 cents. #4) The Shawsheen Tech Parents Advisory Council is sponsoring “A Night with Joey Voices” at the Tewksbury Knights of Columbus Hall (2068 Main Street). Doors open at 7 pm. Tickets are $25. Pizza and salad will be served. Attendees are welcome to bring their own food and snacks. There will also be a cash bar. All money raised will support the Shawsheen Valley Technical High School Parent Advisory Council’s All Night Graduation Party. Learn more HERE.

#6) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding TWO programs:
- Drop-In Storytime (10am-10:45am)
- R.E.A.D. Middle Grade Book Club (3:45pm-4:45pm)
