POLICE LOG for November 9: Tewksbury Man Arrested; FedEx Truck Clips Railroad Gate; Summons Issued

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, November 9, 2016:

  • Police observed suspicious activity inside Peter’s Pizza & Roast Beef on Lowell Street. Police investigated. Owner was inside the building. He stayed late to watch election coverage. (2:02am)
  • A caller reported he lost his wallet sometime around 2:00pm yesterday in the Market Basket parking lot. (7:08am)
  • A Woburn Street School employee reported a vehicle parked on school property for two hours. Employee saw a young male get out of the vehicle and head towards the pedestrian way. Police located young male a friend’s house, where there was no parking spaces available. Male agreed to move his car. (1:15pm)
  • A caller reported a FedEx truck clipped a railroad gate on Salem Street, moved it to the side of the road, and continued on their way. Police notified MBTA. Police were unable to locate FedEx truck. (2:52pm)
  • A blue 2005 Dodge Caravan and a white 2005 Nissan Armada were involved in a crash at Nichols Street and Shawsheen Avenue. Vehicle was towed. (5:22pm)
  • Elizabeth M. DeOliveira (62, Framingham) was issued a summons for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked License; Driving an Uninsured Motor Vehicle; and Speeding. DeOliveria was pulled over at Lowell Street and Commonwealth Avenue. (8:09pm)
  • Michael R. Perry (27, Tewksbury) was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Perry was arrested at Town Beach. (8:19pm)
