WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, November 7, 2016:
- An attempted break-in was reported at AJ’s Kitchen on Lowell Street. Police responded to find the rear door partially pried open. A K9 search ensued. No further information provided. (3:18am)
- A caller reported a breaking & entering occurred at Keohan Fuels on Main Street sometime overnight. Police responded. (5:24am)
- A Carter Lane caller reported a phone was purchased fraudulently in their name from Verizon Wireless. (12:08pm)
- A Presidential Drive caller reported someone tried to obtain a small business loan from Bank of America in their name. Bank notified caller. Caller wanted the incident logged. (2:16pm)
- A caller reported she witnessed a man drinking an alcoholic beverage in the driver’s seat of a gray Hyundai at Eastern Bank. Police located the vehicle at the owner’s home. Man checked OK and was advised of the complaint. (2:20pm)
- A Chestnut Street caller reported an injured deer in her driveway. (6:25pm)
- Janice A. Donovan (59, Wilmington) was placed in protective custody. Police responded to reports of an intoxicated woman causing a disturbance. (7:27pm)
