POLICE LOG for October 31: Kids Running In Front Of Trains; Father Throws Beer At Passing Car

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, October 31, 2016:

  • A Burnap Street resident reported a man was going through trash cans. Police responded. Man was collecting refundables from recycling bins. No mess made. He was sent on his way. (7:32am)
  • Enterprise Car Rental reported a missing license plate belonging to a blue 2016 Jeep Patriot. (3:04pm)
  • A walk-in party reported her sister embezzled money. (3:12pm)
  • Police issued 4 verbal warnings or citations for speeding on Aldrich Road in a 30-minute period. (3:59pm)
  • A Woodland Road resident reported being the victim of a credit card fraud. (6:34pm)
  • Police received a report of kids running in front of trains that go by and climbing on bars at Salem Street and Valyn Lane. Kids were gone by the time police arrived. (7:00pm)
  • A real estate sign was vandalized on Adams Street. Police notified real estate company. (7:56pm)
  • A caller reported a man threw a beer windshield as she was passing by on Park Street. Man was trick-or-treating with his children. (!) No damage was done to the vehicle. Police were unable to locate the man. (8:02pm)
