WILMINGTON, MA – The Wilmington High School Athletic Hall of Fame held its 2016 Induction Ceremony on Saturday night at the Hillview Country Club in North Reading.
The following Wilmington High School athletes were inducted:
- Keith Arnold (1964)
- Lindsay Bruno (2000)
- Anne Butters (1935)
- Lani Cabral-Pini (2005)
- Joe Herra (2006)
- Sean Murphy (2006)
- 1997 Boys Soccer Team
In addition, the following Wilmington High School coaches and benefactors were inducted:
- Jim Gillis (Coach & Benefactor)
- Ed Harrison (Benefactor)
- Steve Scanlon (Coach)

- Personalities, talent, coaching — ‘97 team had it all by Jamie Pote
- Herra will always be remembered as one of the all-time best by Jamie Pote
- Cabral-Pini small in size, but huge in heart and abilities by Mike Ippolito
- Iocco, McCauley, Figueiredo and Barletta Four members, four years, four titles and one loss — Soccer program 63-1-8 last four regular seasons by Jamie Pote
