WILMINGTON, MA — Here are 10 things you need to know in Wilmington for Monday, November 7, 2016.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, it will be sunny in Wilmington, with a high near 51. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph. Tonight will be clear with a low around 31. Calm wind.
#2) The Wilmington cheerleading community invites residents to its “Night of Champions” at 7pm at Wilmington High School. Cheerleaders from Wilmington High School, Shawsheen Tech, and Wilmington Pop Warner will perform their competition routines. Wilmington Cheering Alumni will also be participating in the showcase. Tickets cost $7 and can be purchased at the door.
#3) Wilmington Public Schools is offering a free Youth Mental Health First Aid course to Wilmington parents on Monday, November 7 (2:15pm-6:15pm) and Wednesday, November 9 (2:15pm-6:15pm) at Wilmington High School (159 Church Street). #7) The Wilmington High School CATS (Choral and Theatre Support Group) holds its monthly meeting at 7pm in the WHS Library.
#8) The Woburn Street School’s School Advisory Council meets at 3pm at the school.

#10) REMINDER: The curbside pick-up of leaves and grass clippings continues this week and extends through November 26. Residents should place their yardwaste in biodegradable paper bags or uncovered barrels at curbside on their regular trash collection day. Yardwaste in plastic bags will not be accepted.
