WILMINGTON, MA — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, October 28, 2016:
- Police out with a vehicle on Fordham Road. Parties were having car troubles on their way to Vermont. (12:44am)
- Police assisted a driver with a motor vehicle lockout at Nichols Funeral Home. (11:06am)
- Police notified DPW of a tree fallen on a sidewalk near Metro at Wilmington Station on Burlington Avenue. (12:52pm)
- A light grey pit bull was reported lose on Cunningham Street. Animal Control Officer could not located the dog. (1:04pm)
- Richard Ramos-Rivera (25, Lawrence) was arrested for Distributing a Class B Drug and 3 charges of Conspiracy To Violate Drug Law. Jonathan Velazquez-Velez (29, Lawrence) arrested for 3 charges of Distributing a Class B Drug and 3 charges of Conspiracy To Violate Drug Law. Both men were arrested on Woburn Street in a gray 2015 Lexus SE. (1:46pm)
- Police assisted a driver with a motor vehicle lockout at the Widwood Cemetery. (2:02pm)
- Police issued a citation for failure to stop for a school bus and operating within 100 feet of a school bus at Woburn Street and Eames Street. (3:00pm)
- Police issued a citation for failure to yield for a pedestrian at a crosswalk on Church Street. (6:37pm)
- A caller reported a man was acting strangely inside CVS, asking people for money. Police responded. Man was trying to find his way to Reading. Police sent him on his way. (10:51pm)
