WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, October 27, 2016:
- A dog was struck by a vehicle on Roosevelt Road. Police notified the Animal Control Officer. Owners brought the dog, with unspecified injuries, to Best Pets in Tewksbury. (8:54am)
- Police conducted a bus evacuation drill at the West Intermediate School. (8:57am)
- A Carmel Street resident reported a coyote in her backyard. Animal was gone by the time the Animal Control Officer arrived. (9:49am)
- A black 2014 Ford E350 and a White 2012 Dodge Ram were involved in a crash in front of the Harnden Tavern on Salem Street. No injuries noted. Both vehicles t owed. (2:34pm)
- A gray 2014 Toyota Scion and a black 2016 Chevy Equinox were involved in a crash at Nichols Street and Flagstaff Road. Unspecified injuries. Both vehicles towed. DPW notified of large amount of leaked fluid in the roadway. (3:50pm)
- A hit and run occurred on 93 South. Caller followed perpetrator into Dunkin Donuts parking lot on Concord Street. State police to handle. (6:30pm)
- A small amount of a Class D was confiscated from an individual in the Market Basket parking lot. (8:12pm)
