WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Dental Group recently announced the addition of Jan Krefting to their team.
Krefting is joining the Wilmington Dental Group team after several years of private practice in Billerica and in Londonderry, New Hampshire. Krefting received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Iowa and earned a doctorate for dental surgery from Northwestern University in her hometown of Chicago.
Krefting brings many years of experience in dentistry providing comprehensive treatment in all aspects of general dentistry, including Invisalign. Krefting also brings her passion for dentistry to her volunteer work with a variety of organizations that provide dental treatment to people in developing nations living in poverty where access to dental treatment is not available. Locally, Krefting became the dentist for the “lost boys” of the Sudan and treated children of Chernobyl who spent the summer in the United States after the nuclear disaster.
“A smile is the best expression of who we are, and it is an honor to have patients trust me to restore or enhance their smile,” Krefting said. “A great smile is always a confidence booster.”
A.G. Khan, owner of Wilmington Dental Group, said he is excited to have Krefting join his Wilmington team.
“We are proud to have Jan Krefting join our team,” Khan said. “We have known each other for many years professionally and have very similar dental treatment philosophies. It will be a pleasure to work with her and have her become a member or our team.”
