POLICE LOG for October 26: Reports Of Out Of Control People; Dump Trucks Break Down

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, October 26, 2016:

  • Ryan C. O’Rourke (23, Wilmington) was taken into protective custody. Fire Department transported him to Winchester Hospital. (1:18am)
  • Police assisted driver was a lockout in the Lubrizol Advanced Materials parking lot on Lowell Street. (7:26am)
  • A 6-wheel dump truck with a trailer towing a Bobcat broke down at Main Street and Eames Street. Vehicle was towed. (8:05am)
  • Police conducted a school bus evacuation drill at the Wildwood School. (9:03am)
  • Another dump truck broke down in front of Elia’s Country Store on Middlesex Avenue. Vehicle was towed. (12:15pm)
  • The Registry of Motor Vehicles on Middlesex Avenue reported an irate customer. (1:49pm)
  • Milestone Group Home on High Street reported an out-of-control client. (2:04pm)
  • A contractor on Grove Avenue wished to have a well-being check on a man across the street who appeared to be stumbling and falling. Police spoke with the resident, who said he was not feeling well, but did not need any assistance. (3:35pm)
  • A passerby reported a large Halloween decorating in the middle of the road on Chestnut Street. Police recovered the item. (5:39pm)
