WHS BOYS XC: Wildcats Fall In Final Regular Meet Of The Season

WILMINGTON, MA – The Wilmington High School Boys Cross Country team (1-6) was defeated by Burlington High, 43-18, on Tuesday, October 25, in the team’s final home and dual meet of the season.

Despite the loss, Head Coach Brian Schell was ecstatic with his team’s effort.

“Everyone managed to run a personal record (PR)… Some ran a PR anywhere from 40 seconds to 3 minutes. We even had 5 more step up and break 20 minutes for the first time,” announced Schell.  “It was awesome to see… The performances were phenomenal.”

Senior captain Jason Dunn led the Wildcats with a 3rd place finish at 16:49. Freshman Greg Adamek also had a strong showing at 17:34, good enough for 7th place.
