WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, October 24, 2016:

- Police received report of wires down on Jacquith Road. Police responded and moved wires to side of road. Police notified Verizon. (8:23am)
- Riley Keogan (19, Wilmington) was arrested on a warrant for possession of a Class B substance. Keogan was pulled over in front of Chili’s on Main Street. (8:57am)
- Luciano B. Da-Cruz (29, Leominster) was issued a summons for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and following too closely on a state highway. Da-Cruz was involved in a minor 2-vehicle accident in front of Bryant Glass on Main Street. (10:59am)
- An employee at the West Intermediate reported a fox was approximately 5 feet from the parking lot. (12:01pm)
- A Sonny’s Mobile on the Run employee reported a skunk was under a storage shed. Skunk was eventually removed. (1:42pm)
- A driver reported she was trying to get out of the way of an SUV coming over the bridge near Nannies Day Care on Main Street and struck the guard rail. (4:47pm)
- Police notified DPW that the street sign for Houghton Road at Kendall Street was missing. (8:13pm)
