WILMINGTON, MA — Jane M. (Bird) Leary, age 83, of Wilmington, formerly of Medford, passed away on October 29, 2016.
Jane is the beloved wife of 64 years of Eugene J. Leary, devoted mother of Kathleen Cote & her husband the late Paul of Methuen, Karen Brodigan & her husband Michael of Canton and Joseph Leary & his wife Julie of Wilmington, loving “Nana” of Timothy Cote, Jeffrey Cote, Patrick Brodigan & his wife Caroline, Megan Hart & her husband Dr. John Hart, Dennis Brodigan & his wife Katelynn, Ryan Leary, Connor Leary, Sophie Smith and Chloe Smith, “Nana Jane” of 5 great-grandchildren, cherished daughter of the late Frank J. and Rose Ann (Gilfedder) Bird. Jane is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Wednesday, November 2nd at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Dorothy’s Church, Main St. (Rte. 38), Wilmington at 10:00 a.m. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 1st from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
Memorial donations in Jane’s name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
