WILMINGTON, MA — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, October 15, 2016:
- Police received report of a manhole cover removed from the middle of the road on Arlene Avenue. Police notified DPW. (10:41am)
- Milton Taveras (36, Bradford) was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license for OUI. Taveras was arrested near Sonny’s Mobile on the Run at Lowell Street and West Street. (11:20am)
- A white 2003 Chevy Tahoe and a white 2012 Volkswagen Jetta were involved in a crash at AAA Tire Company at Main Street. Fire Department responded due to possible injury. One vehicle towed. (11:54am)
- A female in her 60’s was walking around the Main Street Consignment & Thrift store attempting to take items. Police responded. Woman was given a trespass order and removed from the store. (12:54pm)
- A Sheldon Avenue caller reported her neighbor’s mailbox was damaged sometime overnight. (2:03pm)
- Police received report of a black and red ATV and a white dirt bike speeding up and down Eleanor Drive. Police responded, but vehicles were gone. (2:06pm)
- A caller reported she wanted an employee at Pacific Grove removed because of a removed gesture. Police responded. Chef gave the finger to another employee. Both employees were advised to speak with the business manager about it. (3:44pm)
- A caller reported an erratic female operator, now parked in the TJ Maxx parking lot, was possibly in a verbal altercation with a man. Police responded, but woman was gone. Police spoke with the woman at her residence, who admitted to a road rage incident, but stated it was mutual. (8:40pm)
- David B. McNee (54, Wilmington) was arrested on warrants for speeding, operator a motor vehicle, and driving an uninsured motor vehicle. (10:38pm)
