WILMINGTON, MA — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, October 14, 2016:
- An employee of Office Paper Recovery Systems on Andover Street notified the police of illegal dumping. Police responded and the individual was trespassed. (5:43am)
- A caller reported cars speeding in the Eames Street area during the morning commute. Caller requested extra patrols. (7:51am)
- Police were notified that a couch was left on the side of Lowell Street across from Burger King. Police notified DPW, who notified a disposal company. (8:52am)
- Police received report of a man yelling out his car window at a woman and giving her the middle finger. Man, driving a gray 2007 Ford Explorer, took a right out of Cumberland Farms, heading south on Route 38 towards Woburn. Police were unable to locate the individual. (12:39pm)
- The Fire Department requested the Animal Control Officer to respond to a crash on 93 North, near Exit 41, where a cat was found in the vehicle. The ACO Officer transported the cat to the Andover Animal Hospital. (3:25pm)
- A Milestone Group Home resident reported her iPhone 6S, $35 and a pair of earrings were stolen by another resident. (3:27pm)
- A Sandy Lane caller reported a credit card fraud. (4:15pm)
- An off-duty sergeant reported an erratic operator of a white box truck on Route 62, heading towards North Reading. North Reading Police filed an immediate threat summons for operating to endanger and marked lanes violation. (5:44pm)
- Neighbor called in a possibly robbery on a home on Willard Circle currently under construction. Police responded and situation checked OK. (11:12pm)
